Commissioned with a Permanent Commission in the Helicopter Stream of the Indian Air Force in 1986, he served across five postings and participated in two operational assignments during his tenure. In 1994, he took premature release and transitioned to civil aviation. Over his corporate career, he gained expertise in civil aviation, offshore shipping, oil & gas drilling and construction, and port services—ultimately retiring as President of the largest integrated oil & gas service provider in India. He now resides in Mumbai, managing his family office and advising industry colleagues.
